Lake Sentani Festival Ready To Promoted

Jayapura regency, Papua, ready to publish Sentani Festival Fund (FDS) in 2010 to foreign countries such as Japan, the United States, and the Netherlands through the international news network LKBN Between, as well as promotion of tourism outside Bali.

This was confirmed Regent Jayapura, Papua, Abel Melkias Suwae, after signing cooperation as well as publication of the news at the Wisma Antara Jakarta, Monday (05/17/2010).

Meanwhile, Director of Commercial and Technology LKBN Between Rully C. Iswahyudi said it continues to promote collaboration with various pemerinta areas that have annual events such as the FDS in order to introduce more cultural richness of Indonesia.

"Promotion of tourism should continue to be improved, especially when considering the Lake Sentani Festival is not just a reflection of the cultural richness of Indonesia but also to represent the diversity and harmonization in the ground water that can be seen the world community," he said.

So far, the public world only knows Bali, he said, are now growing more wealth that can be known Indonesian tourism world, namely through the World Sentani Festival, which is part of the exoticism of Papua.

FDS 2010 takes the theme of "Loving Culture for Our Future" which is a cultural love for the future that is motivated by a love of human existence and strength of character of its culture.

The festival is also an effort to conserve natural resources and tyradisi nation. FDS to-3 in the year 2010 will be held on June 19 to 23, 2010 and will open the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Jero Wacik.
